School Activities
There are local soccer clubs for the children to participate in and we are delighted to announce that Nagle-Rice will be partaking in the biggest competition in primary school soccer this year – the FAI Schools Primary 5’s competition for boys and girls. It is a fun five-a-side competition for senior classes. This competition has gone from strength to strength and now stands as the largest Grassroots Football Programme of its kind in Ireland.
The competition begins with an in-house 5-a-side tournament before the lucky pupils are selected to represent the school in the county qualifiers. Winning schools from the county qualifiers then have the opportunity to compete in the Regional Finals with a view to competing at the National Finals Day in the Aviva Stadium.
